Kendall celebrates the week of Illinois Family Reading Night! We started off Monday with a Poetry Slam @ Lunch! We had 56 courageous poets!

Caught Reading

Third graders are so creative. They made a reading train! All aboard! Read read read read woohoo!

First Graders

Our first graders had a performance task to complete. For this task, they had to think about a problem around our school, figure out how it impacted themselves and others and the come up with a solution for the problem.
The problem is: In our LMC people are leaving library books on the floor.
Impact: Others cannot find the books they are looking for, or someone could step on them and get hurt.!
Solution: Don't "throe" books on the floor!
