My name is Ms. Rhonda Jenkins. I am one the teacher-librarian at Kendall Elementary School. I have been a teacher in District 204 for 15 years. At Gombert, I taught 5th grade for five years, 3rd grade for two years, Waubonsie Valley High School for five years, Fry for three years and now LMC Director at Kendall. I absolutely love it here!
I began my teaching career in 1999. I have three Masters degrees: one in Technology in Education, one in Reading and Literacy and one in Educational Leadership. I love learning and do what is necessary to keep abreast of current trends in effective teaching strategies. I am also a Google Apps for Education Teacher and Google Certified Trainer.
I firmly believe that all children have the right to the best education possible. It is my goal to meet the needs of my students, building in them the desire to be a life-long learners and readers!
